As a Security Officer Morning Driver Patrol Route in North Salt Lake, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to supervisors and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for authorized personnel and/or deliveries, following site protocols for visitor processing, restricted areas, and security-related reporting requirements.
• Support site operations by maintaining an attentive presence, completing required logs and reports, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations through appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
